847 Market Street

In November 2021, the NWPA Investment Cooperative successfully closed on its first property and in June of 2022, 847 Market Street became the new home of Blissful Meads LLC, a meadery, production site, and tasting room. After connecting at a Second Saturday Community Market, the members of NWPIC were able to work with Tom, Mike, Ashley, and Paul to remodel the space of this former law firm that sat empty for years.

PC Void Boy Art

In May 2024, we celebrated the installation of Blissful Bees, a mural by local printmaker Doug Eberhardt. Blissful Bees represents the hardworking and diverse community of Meadville. It was created by hand carving and printing over 400 pieces of polytab, a cloth-like material often used for murals. The handmade nature of the printing process is meant to mirror Meadville’s history of tool and die forging. Each piece of printed polytab was carefully placed next to one another to create the larger final image. Though polytab is a lightweight flexible material, the mural is as permanent as any painted mural and should last for years. The mural was made possible by a grant from Allegheny College’s Center for Community Engaged Learning.
